Former Pakistan head coach Jason Gillespie has revealed that he is still awaiting his pending payments from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), months after resigning from the role in December 2024. Speaking in a recent interview, Gillespie stated, โItโs ongoing. Letโs just leave it at that,โ hinting at a prolonged dispute.
The issue first surfaced earlier this year when Gillespie publicly acknowledged the delayed payments. His latest remarks suggest the matter may soon escalate further. According to PCB officials, the delay stems from an alleged breach of contract by Gillespie โ a claim yet to be fully addressed by either side.

Gillespieโs departure came amid significant restructuring within Pakistan cricket, including the appointment of Gary Kirsten to lead white-ball squads. The dual-coach model quickly fell apart, with Gillespie stepping down before the scheduled Test series against South Africa, reportedly over internal disagreements.
While the exact details of the contractual dispute remain undisclosed, Gillespie has confirmed that legal action is on the table. The situation sheds light on the complexities of international coaching agreements and the administrative hurdles that can arise.
