Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Faisal Amin Gandapur has officially resigned from three standing committees of the National Assembly. He is also the brother of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
In his resignation letter to the National Assembly Speaker, Faisal Amin Gandapur stated that the decision was made in line with directives issued by PTI founder Imran Khan. He confirmed that he would no longer serve as a member of any committee.
This development follows Imran Khan’s recent instruction to PTI lawmakers to step down from all National Assembly committees and boycott upcoming by-elections. The move reflects the party’s stance against what it claims is an unfair disqualification process targeting its leadership.
