Gold Prices Experiences a Slight Drop In Pakistan

Gold prices registered a slight decline in Pakistan’s domestic market, aligning with decreasing global prices on Tuesday.

According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs100, settling at Rs245,000. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs86, reaching Rs210,048.

On the international market, the price of gold decreased by $14, bringing it to $2,362 per ounce. In contrast, silver prices in the local market remained steady at Rs2,900 per tola and Rs2,486.28 per 10 grams.

The previous day saw a significant drop in gold prices, with the price per tola of 24 karat gold falling by Rs1,300, selling at Rs245,100 compared to Rs246,400 on the last trading day. The price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold also saw a decrease, dropping by Rs1,113 to Rs210,134 from Rs211,247. In contrast, the price for 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased slightly to Rs192,622 from Rs193,644, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
