The meeting of the JCP was held under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi. Members discussed the performance and eligibility of judges currently serving in the Sindh High Court. After deliberation, the commission reached a consensus on multiple appointments.

According to official details, 10 SHC judges have now been confirmed as permanent judges. These judges were previously working in an additional capacity. Their confirmation strengthens the judicial structure of the Sindh High Court.

In addition to confirming 10 SHC judges, the JCP approved a six-month extension for two additional judges. Justice Khalid Hussain Shahani and Justice Syed Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Shah received the extension. This decision allows them to continue serving while further evaluations are completed.
