ISPR DG Briefs Students on National Security and Terrorism at Summer Camp 2026

Summer Camp 2026 program brought together thousands of students from across Pakistan for an interactive session on national security, terrorism, and the country’s current challenges. The session was led by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.

According to ISPR, more than 4,000 students from grades 9 to 12 are participating in Summer Camp 2026. The participants represent over 18 cities, making it one of the largest youth engagement initiatives organized this year.

During the session, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry discussed Pakistan’s internal and external security situation. He also spoke about the challenges posed by terrorism and the importance of national unity in addressing security concerns.

ISPR said the discussion aimed to help students better understand the country’s security environment. The interactive format also allowed participants to engage directly and ask questions about issues affecting Pakistan.

According to the students, the session increased their awareness of national security matters. They said they gained a clearer understanding of the challenges facing the country and the importance of remaining informed.

Participants were also briefed on what ISPR described as the role of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij in terrorist activities in Balochistan. Officials explained their perspective on the security threats posed by these groups and their impact on national stability.

The students also discussed the growing challenge of misinformation and online propaganda. They noted that false information spreads rapidly through digital platforms and social media, making media literacy more important than ever.

Many participants emphasized the need for young people to verify information before sharing it online. They said responsible use of digital platforms can help reduce the spread of misinformation.

Students attending the Summer Camp also expressed their commitment to supporting efforts aimed at promoting peace and countering terrorism. They highlighted the importance of national unity and cooperation in addressing security challenges.

ISPR stated that the camp is designed to strengthen awareness among young people while encouraging leadership, critical thinking, and personal development. Organizers believe such programs help students better understand national issues and prepare them for future responsibilities.

The initiative also provides an opportunity for students from different regions to interact, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. Bringing together participants from multiple cities helps promote greater understanding and national cohesion.

Officials said the program combines educational activities with discussions on important national topics. It also focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and civic responsibility among young participants.
