Punjab Schools Get Special 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal Plan — Here’s What’s Coming

Punjab government has directed all public schools to observe 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal with religious devotion and respect. Schools across the province will organise several activities and competitions to mark the occasion.

The government has issued instructions to school administrations regarding the planned events. Students will participate in educational and religious activities throughout the day.

The province will observe 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal on Wednesday, August 26.

Schools to Hold Quran and Naat Competitions

Under the government directives, schools will arrange Quran recitation competitions for students.

Naat competitions will also be organised as part of the activities. Students will have opportunities to participate at their respective schools.

Speech competitions will focus on topics related to the occasion. Schools will also organise essay-writing contests for students. The activities aim to increase students’ understanding of the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Schools will also conduct quizzes based on Seerat-un-Nabi. These quizzes will focus on important aspects of the Prophet’s (PBUH) life and teachings.

The programme will allow students to learn more about Islamic history and values through educational activities.

District Education Officers to Monitor Events

District education officers will personally monitor the Rabi-ul-Awwal activities across Punjab.

They will ensure schools follow the government instructions and complete the required arrangements. School administrations have been directed to make preparations before the scheduled events.

Authorities want all activities to be conducted according to the instructions issued for the occasion. Monitoring will also help officials assess whether schools have completed the required programmes.

Schools Must Submit Compliance Reports

The government has introduced reporting requirements for the planned activities.

Schools must submit compliance reports after completing their events. These reports will include photographs and videos from the programmes.

Authorities have directed schools to submit the required material on the same day.

School administrations must therefore ensure that all arrangements are completed on time.

The directive applies to public schools throughout Punjab. The planned Rabi-ul-Awwal activities will include Quran recitation, Naat, speeches, essays and Seerat-un-Nabi quizzes.

District education authorities will supervise implementation of the instructions across the province. Schools have been asked to ensure timely preparations ahead of August 26.
