A Karachi court has issued a non-bailable warrant for the arrest of motivational speaker Sahil Adeem for allegedly making offensive remarks about the Sindhi community. The warrant was issued by Judicial Magistrate Sher Muhammad after Adeem failed to appear in court, following a complaint filed by a lawyer in July 2024.
According to the investigating officer, advocate Abdul Fatah reported that he received a WhatsApp video in which Adeem made derogatory statements about Sindhis while sitting outside the Edhi Barroom at the City Courts.

In the video, Adeem suggested that instead of “Ghazwa-e-Hind,” it should be “Ghazwa-e-Sindh,” and made disparaging comments about Sindhis offering their daughters to feudal lords.
The complaint asserts that his words were deeply offensive and hurt the sentiments of the Sindhi community.
The FIR was filed under sections 153 (provocation with intent to incite a riot), 505 (statements causing public mischief), and 500 (defamation) of the Pakistan Penal Code. The court has directed the police to arrest Adeem and bring him before the court on September 24.
