In response to the breach of Pakistani airspace by Iran, which led to civilian casualties, the government has directed the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to intensively monitor all incoming flights from the West, particularly Iran. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Pakistan has not yet implemented a closure of its airspace for commercial flights arriving from Iran, and no official decision to that effect has been announced.

Sources within the CAA have indicated that the government’s directive instructs rigorous coordination with air traffic control to compile comprehensive details of all flights entering Pakistan from the western region, including those originating in Iran and neighboring countries. This level of scrutiny is considered unprecedented in the nation’s history.
Earlier, the Pakistani Foreign Office confirmed that the country’s armed forces had conducted retaliatory strikes within Iranian territory. The operation, codenamed ‘Marg Bar Sarmachar,’ demonstrated high coordination and precision, targeting specific terrorist hideouts in Iran’s Sistan-o-Baluchistan province. The intelligence-based operation resulted in the elimination of several terrorists. The situation continues to unfold with heightened tensions in the region.
