In a remarkable display of skill, Sajid claimed five wickets in the first innings, including a stunning spell where he dismissed three English batsmen in just ten balls on the second day.
This achievement marks him as the first Pakistani spinner to reach such a milestone on home soil since Mushtaq’s record in 2000. Pakistan, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, posted a solid total of 366 runs, with debutant Kamran Ghulam shining by scoring 118 runs and Saim Ayub adding 77 runs.
