The inaugural ceremony, following Friday prayers, was attended by various officials, faith leaders, and community representatives.

As ISNA’s first convention in Dallas in its 61-year history, it stands as the largest Muslim gathering in the U.S., attracting individuals from different faiths, international leaders, and senior U.S. officials.

ISNA President Safaa Zarzour, Convention Chair Azhar Azeez, and other key figures noted that officials from various government levels will participate in the convention.

The event aims to promote peace and unity among diverse faith communities and address issues affecting Muslims in North America and globally, including Palestine, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK), and Sudan.

Zarzour emphasized the convention’s role in fostering interfaith dialogue and societal change, highlighting its significance for all of America. Established in 1963, ISNA is the oldest and largest Muslim organization in the U.S. and Canada, dedicated to Muslim welfare.
