A 26-year-old US-Turkish woman, Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, was killed by Israeli forces during a protest against Jewish settlement expansion in Beita, West Bank. Eygi, who held dual nationality, was participating in her first demonstration with the International Solidarity Movement when she was shot. On the same day, Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin after a nine-day operation, which resulted in numerous casualties.
