Google is currently in the process of developing a novel feature that will enhance the connectivity between Android devices sharing the same account. This feature is reminiscent of Apple’s Continuity feature, which facilitates seamless connectivity between different Apple devices. The concept is quite straightforward: if you receive a call on your iPhone, you can also answer it on your Mac or iPad, provided they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Google’s new feature will allow Android users with devices linked to the same Google account to effortlessly switch calls between their devices and share their internet connection. Transferring calls is a simple process – users can initiate a call on one device and then seamlessly shift it to another. The internet sharing component enables the primary device to distribute its internet connection to other devices, much like a personal Wi-Fi hotspot.

Notably, the upcoming feature differs from Apple’s approach. While Apple’s method enables call reception from an iPhone on an iPad or Mac, Google’s feature will reportedly allow call-switching even between distinct Android phones.
To establish a connection between your Android device and your Google account, navigate to Settings, then proceed to Google, and finally select Devices & Sharing.
