The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has named a 16-member squad for the 4th T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, which is set to begin in Pakistan on November 23. The selection committee, led by Masood Jan, Muhammad Jameel, and Tahir Mahmood Butt, chose the players with the approval of PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah.
Nisar Ali will captain the team, with Badar Munir serving as vice-captain. The squad is divided into three categories: B1 (Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Idrees Saleem, Muhammad Shahzaib, Fakhar Abbas, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Salman), B2 (Babar Ali, Nematullah, Haroon Khan), and B3 (Muhammad Safdar, Kamran Akhtar, Akmal Hayat Nasir, Talha Iqbal, Matiullah). Reserve players include Muhammad Ayaz, Moeen Aslam, and Muhammad Rashid.

The team’s coaching staff includes Muhammad Jameel (head coach), Masood Jan (assistant coach), Malik Abrar Hussain (team manager), Naveed Hussain Abbasi (assistant manager), and Tahir Mahmood Butt (trainer). The opening match will be against South Africa in Lahore on November 23.
PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah expressed confidence in the team, praising the blend of experienced players and new talent. He is hopeful that the squad will meet the nation’s expectations in the World Cup.
