Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has announced financial aid for families affected by recent floods in the province. According to the official statement, CM Gandapur announces Rs2m each for flood-hit families as part of the government’s immediate relief efforts.
The announcement came after the chief minister visited the flood-affected areas to review the situation. He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property. The provincial government has directed all departments to speed up rescue and relief operations.
Officials confirmed that the financial assistance will be distributed among the families of those who lost loved ones in the disaster. The chief minister assured that the process will be transparent and completed without delay. He also directed local authorities to prepare a detailed report on damages to infrastructure, including roads, schools, and health centers.
During his visit, Gandapur emphasized that the government stands firmly with the victims. He stated that additional support will be provided once the damage assessment is finalized. Relief camps have already been set up to provide food, shelter, and medical help to displaced families.
The chief minister also urged federal authorities to extend maximum support to the province during this difficult time. He stressed that rebuilding homes, restoring schools, and repairing basic infrastructure are top priorities.
The provincial disaster management teams continue to monitor the situation closely. Rescue workers are clearing blocked roads and ensuring supply of essentials to remote villages.
In his message, Gandapur appealed to the public and charitable organizations to step forward and help those in need. He assured that every effort will be made to restore normal life in the affected regions.
