Royal Initiative: Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House Marks Centenary with Modern Miniature Library

In commemoration of the 100-year legacy of the Dolls’ House, the palace has unveiled a special initiative initiated by Queen Mary.

The monarch has taken the lead in establishing a modern-day miniature library, a symbolic tribute to the enduring tradition of the royal family’s appreciation for the arts. The official announcement states, “To celebrate 100 years of Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, The Queen has championed an initiative to create a modern-day miniature library. Leading writers, illustrators, and binders have contributed their own handwritten manuscripts as a mirror to the books collected a century ago.”

Queen Camilla, alongside acclaimed writers, has actively participated in this distinctive project, contributing to a new chapter in the legacy of Queen Mary’s Doll’s House. The addition to the doll’s house, inspired by the collaborative efforts of the royal family and esteemed authors, serves as a testament to the enduring cultural significance maintained over the years.
