Father and Son Abducted, Robbed, and Left Injured in Karachi

In a shocking incident, armed assailants abducted a father and son from Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony, robbed them, and later left them injured on separate streets. The police reported that 27-year-old Musameer was found with gunshot wounds in the Razzakabad Dhani Parto Goth area, under the jurisdiction of Shah Latif Police Station.

According to Musameer, he and his father were kidnapped by unknown individuals near the Shah Faisal Colony bridge. The abductors were driving a white car with police number plates and posed as Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officers. Throughout the abduction, they demanded the victims’ account details while driving them around the city.

The father was physically assaulted and left at Murtaza Chowrangi in Landhi, while Musameer was shot after being thrown from the vehicle near Razzakabad. The Shah Latif SHO stated that the assailants fired indiscriminately before fleeing the scene. Musameer suffered gunshot injuries to his arm and leg and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Authorities are currently searching for the suspects, using CCTV footage to aid in their identification.
