In November, several bowlers delivered exceptional performances across formats, with notable contributions from Rauf, Marco Jansen, and Jasprit Bumrah.
Rauf (Pakistan):
Rauf played a pivotal role in Pakistan’s historic ODI series win in Australia, their first in 22 years. He began the series with a fiery three-wicket haul in Melbourne and truly excelled in the second ODI, where he claimed a crucial five-wicket haul to level the series. Rauf finished the series as the top wicket-taker with 10 wickets, at an impressive economy rate of just five, leading Pakistan to a 2-1 series win. He continued his excellent form in the subsequent T20I series, claiming five wickets, including a standout four-wicket performance in the second T20I. Rauf wrapped up the month with three wickets in as many ODIs against Zimbabwe, amassing 18 wickets in total across formats.

Marco Jansen (South Africa):
The 24-year-old South African made his mark with both bat and ball in November. In the T20I series against India, Jansen took a wicket in each of the first three matches and also shone with the bat, scoring a blistering 17-ball 54 in the third T20I and an unbeaten 29 in the fourth. However, despite his efforts, South Africa lost the series 3-1. Jansen’s standout performance came in the first Test against Sri Lanka in Durban, where he claimed career-best match figures of 11/86. His seven-wicket haul in the first innings helped bowl Sri Lanka out for just 42, the second-lowest total in Tests in the 21st century. He followed it up with four more wickets in the second innings, leading South Africa to a commanding 233-run victory.
Jasprit Bumrah (India):
Bumrah had an outstanding performance in the opening Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, playing as India’s stand-in captain. His eight-wicket haul (5/30 and 3/42) was instrumental in India’s dominant 295-run win over Australia in Perth. After India was dismissed for 150, Bumrah delivered a devastating spell, taking three wickets in the first seven overs and finishing with 5/30, which restricted Australia to just 104. In the fourth innings, defending a massive target of 534, he struck early and took three more wickets, securing a comprehensive victory for India. His brilliant performances across both innings earned him the Player of the Match award.
