International Stars Set to Shine in PSL 10 Draft

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 draft has officially unveiled the categories for foreign players, with several global cricket stars set to participate. The platinum category boasts some of the biggest names in cricket, including Australia’s dynamic opener David Warner. Other notable entries in this top tier include Matthew Short, Sean Abbott, Mustafizur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan, and Mujeeb Ur Rahman.

Additional marquee players in the platinum category are New Zealand’s Mark Chapman and Daryl Mitchell, Australia’s Usman Khawaja and Adam Milne, and England’s Zak Crawley, Jason Roy, and Alex Hales. A total of 40 foreign players are registered in the platinum group, but only six will be selected from this exclusive category.

Players who miss out on selection in the platinum category will move down to the diamond or gold categories. Australia’s Alex Carey is a standout name in the diamond category, which consists of 87 foreign players. Meanwhile, 165 international players are up for grabs in the gold category.

The much-anticipated PSL 10 draft is set for January 11. Initially planned for Gwadar, logistical challenges have prompted the move to Lahore, with a formal announcement expected shortly.
