A 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed by three friends of the same age during a dispute over his refusal to host a party after buying a new mobile phone, according to officials on Tuesday. The police arrested the three juvenile suspects following the incident.
A senior Delhi Police officer reported that while patrolling the Shakarpur area on September 23, officers noticed blood on the street near Ramji Samosa shop around 7:15 PM. Upon investigation, locals informed them that a group of boys had attacked another boy, who had been taken to the hospital.

About an hour later, the Shakarpur police station received a report from Lok Nayak Hospital (LNJP) regarding the admission of a 16-year-old boy named Sachin, who was pronounced dead upon arrival. Doctors discovered two stab wounds on his back during the examination.
In light of these findings, the police filed an FIR and began an investigation into the incident. It was revealed that Sachin, along with a minor friend, was returning from purchasing a new mobile phone when they crossed paths with the three boys near Ramji Samosa shop.
The group demanded a party to celebrate the new phone, but Sachin refused, leading to an argument during which he was stabbed. All three suspects were apprehended using CCTV footage and local intelligence, and the murder weapon, a dagger, was also recovered.
