A British Adventurer has made history by setting a new Guinness World Record for the highest ski base jump. Joshua Bregman, 34, achieved this feat by skiing off a cliff at an altitude of 18,753 feet in the Himalayas.

Bregman and his team spent two weeks preparing for the record-breaking jump, which included inspecting the site and clearing debris to ensure a safe skiing surface.

Despite thorough preparations, Bregman noted the challenges they faced: “Our goal was to ski down with precision, but we had to navigate a rough runway filled with rocks at nearly 6,000 meters.”

Before making the jump, Bregman took deep breaths to combat fatigue and oxygen deprivation. “I had to breathe deeply before taking the leap,” he said.

His successful jump not only earned him the record but also showcased the extreme conditions and extensive preparation required for such an achievement.
