The group reportedly employed a “Burkan” missile with an explosive payload of 300-500 kg and weaponized drones for the first time. Nasrallah also mentioned striking the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona in retaliation for an Israeli airstrike that resulted in casualties among civilians. He pledged that the front against Israel would remain active.

Hezbollah, founded in 1982 and backed by Iran, is considered a terrorist organization by various countries. The group has been involved in ongoing border clashes with Israeli forces since October 8.
