Houthi Leader Warns of Further Attacks on Tel Aviv

Yemen’s Houthi leader, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, announced in a televised speech that his group plans to carry out more attacks on Tel Aviv. The leader confirmed that additional military operations against the Israeli city are forthcoming, as stated in his weekly broadcast on al-Masirah TV.

The announcement follows a recent drone attack claimed by the Houthis, which targeted a building in Tel Aviv, resulting in one fatality and ten injuries. This incident has heightened tensions between the groups.

In response, Israeli fighter jets conducted airstrikes on fuel storage facilities in Hodeidah, Yemen, a city controlled by the Houthi rebels. The strikes caused six deaths and injured 83 people, according to reports from al-Masirah TV.

Since November of last year, the Houthis have escalated their attacks on ships associated with Israel in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, utilizing ballistic missiles and drone bombs. These actions are part of their broader effort to express solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
