Muslim Teachers Attacked At a Tuition Center In Delhi

In Delhi’s Shakurpur area, Muslim Teachers at the Joint Mentor of Discipline tuition center were physically attacked following claims that they were forcing Islamic texts onto students. Members of Hindutva groups stormed the center, leading to severe beatings of the Muslim Teachers, with head teacher Abrar Ali suffering critical injuries and being hospitalized.

The teachers reported the assault to the Subhash Place police station, but the police instead filed an FIR against the educators.

Witnesses, including students and their families, have disputed the allegations, suggesting that the conflict originated from a fee dispute between the center’s head and the parents of a Hindu student.

Despite evidence and testimonies supporting the teachers, the police have dismissed these claims and are pursuing legal action against the Muslim educators.

This incident underscores rising concerns about the treatment of Muslims in India’s educational institutions under the current administration.
