The Pakistani government has decided to discontinue the issuance of 100-page passports, a move confirmed by the passport office. While this change may lead to temporary inconvenience, it was announced through an official statement by the passport office, along with an expression of regret for any disruptions.
Previously, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, operating under the Ministry of Interior, introduced the issuance of e-passports from passport offices across the country, following the lead of Islamabad. These electronic passports were introduced by the federal government in June.
